Mujawarah launches training on the “My Family and I” guide for the Bozour Theatre Association for Culture and Arts in Gaza

Mujawarah for Life and Development – UK has launched a training for the team of the Bozour Theatre Association for Culture and Arts in Al-Bureij Camp, Gaza Strip, centred on the “My Family and I” guide. The training was conducted as part of the Mujawarah and School Project for Reviving Education among Students in Gaza.

This initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to support civil society organisations and both collective and individual educational initiatives, while equipping facilitators and community actors with human-centred and educational tools to accompany families in their journey of recovery after the war — through the philosophy of Mujawarah, which interweaves learning, care, and shared living.

The “My Family and I” guide offers an educational and humanistic model for accompanying families on their path towards healing and rebuilding daily life. It proposes simple, home-based or community-centred sessions that restore a sense of safety, connection, and participation within families.

The guide emphasises that Mujawarah is not an additional activity, but a human response that seeks to rebuild family and social bonds after loss. It invites a rediscovery of the power of human encounter and its ability to spark hope in the midst of everyday life.

The guide comprises six practical sessions designed to foster learning through companionship. These sessions explore themes such as restoring hope, self-care, emotional expression, home-based learning, family cooperation, and continuity of life after crises. It also includes a facilitators’ annex, serving as a beacon for those leading community reflection sessions with families, helping them develop educational and nurturing spaces responsive to their children’s emotional and learning needs.

The coaching and practical implementation sessions will take place across eight educational sites in the Gaza Strip, in partnership with local initiatives and institutions working to promote education and family wellbeing.

Mujawarah for Life and Development – UK has also announced an open call for educational institutions and initiatives in Gaza wishing to obtain a copy of the “My Family and I” guide and participate in specialised coaching sessions, enabling them to expand the circles of Mujawarah and community-based educational practice within their own environments.

The “My Family and I” guide was developed and published by Mujawarah for Life and Development – UK in 2025. It is designed to support families and practitioners in Gaza and other post-crisis contexts through the philosophy of Mujawarah, which opens doors to participatory learning and invites a reimagining of education as an act of life and companionship among people.

This initiative continues Mujawarah’s broader journey to nurture living and humane learning environments across Palestine and the region.

مجاورة تطلق تدريباً حول دليل “أنا وعائلتي” لفريق جمعية مسرح بذور للثقافة والفنون في غزة

أطلقت مؤسسة مجاورة للحياة والتنمية- بريطانيا تدريباً لفريق جمعية مسرح بذور للثقافة والفنون في مخيم البريج- قطاع غزة حول دليل “أنا وعائلتي“، وذلك ضمن أنشطة مشروع مجاورة ومدرسة لإحياء التعليم لدى طلاب غزة

يأتي هذا التدريب ضمن جهود دعم المنظمات الأهلية والمبادرات التعليمية الجماعية والفردية، وتزويد الميسّرين والفاعلين بأدوات تربوية وإنسانية تساهم في مرافقة العائلات بعد الحرب، من خلال نهج المجاورة الذي يربط بين التعلم، والرعاية، والعيش المشترك

يقدّم دليل “أنا وعائلتي“ نموذجاً تربوياً وإنسانياً لمرافقة العائلات في رحلتها نحو التعافي وإعادة بناء الحياة اليومية، عبر جلسات بسيطة تُنفَّذ في البيت أو في مراكز المجتمع، وتُعيد للعائلة مساحة الأمان والاتصال والمشاركة
ويؤكد الدليل أن المجاورة ليست نشاطاً إضافياً، بل استجابة إنسانية تسعى لإعادة بناء الروابط العائلية والاجتماعية بعد الفقد، وهي دعوة لإعادة اكتشاف قوة اللقاء الإنساني وقدرته على توليد الأمل من قلب الحياة اليومية

يتكوّن الدليل من ست جلسات عملية تم تصميمها لتيسير التعلم بالمرافقة، وتتناول موضوعات مثل استعادة الأمل، ورعاية الذات، والتعبير عن المشاعر، والتعلّم داخل البيت، والتعاون الأسري، واستمرارية الحياة بعد الأزمات. كما يتضمّن ملحقاً إرشادياً يشكّل منارة للميسّرين في تنفيذ جلسات تفاكر مجتمعي مع العائلات، تساعدهم على تطوير مساحاتهم التربوية والتعليمية استجابة لاحتياجات أبنائهم النفسية والتربوية

وسيتم تنفيذ جلسات الكوتشينج والتطبيق العملي للدليل في ثمانية مواقع تعليمية مختلفة في قطاع غزة، بالشراكة مع مبادرات ومؤسسات محلية تعمل على تعزيز التعليم والرفاه العائلي

كما أطلقت مؤسسة مجاورة للحياة والتنمية دعوة مفتوحة للمؤسسات والمبادرات التعليمية في غزة الراغبة بالحصول على نسخة من دليل “أنا وعائلتي“ وفرصة جلسات كوتشينج متخصصة، لتمكينها من توسيع دوائر المجاورة والعمل التربوي المجتمعي في بيئاتها التعليمية

ويُعد دليل “أنا وعائلتي“ من اصدارات مؤسسة مجاورة للحياة والتنمية- بريطانيا عام 2025، وهو مصمم خصيصاً لدعم العائلات

والعاملين معها في غزة وسياقات ما بعد الأزمات، من خلال فلسفة المجاورة التي تفتح أبواب التعلم بالمشاركة، وتدعو إلى إعادة تخيّل التعليم كفعل حياةٍ ومجاورةٍ بين الناس

وتأتي هذه المبادرة استكمالاً لمسار مجاورة في بناء بيئات تعلم حية وإنسانية في فلسطين والمنطقة
