Mujawarah and Bozour Theatre Sign Strategic Partnership to Support Community Development

Mujawarah for Life and Development – United Kingdom, and Bozour Theatre for Arts and Culture – Palestine, have officially announced the signing of a strategic partnership aimed at supporting community development through arts, culture, and community-based initiatives.

The partnership was announced during an online meeting held via Zoom, bringing together members of both organisations. The meeting included an introductory session between the two teams, during which key areas of collaboration were discussed, including community programmes and initiatives, capacity building, participatory learning, knowledge exchange, cultural and community engagement, wellbeing initiatives, lifelong learning, and the development of joint projects.

Maree Bashir, Director of Mujawarah for Life and Development, highlighted the importance of creating meaningful partnerships that encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing, noting that the agreement represents an important step towards developing sustainable cultural and community initiatives that respond to local needs.

For her part, Wesam El Derawi, Executive Director of Bozour Theatre for Arts and Culture, stated that the partnership represents a key step in supporting community innovation through theatre and the arts, adding that effective partnerships can transform creative ideas into practical initiatives that positively serve communities and support social development.

The partnership reflects a shared vision between both organisations to strengthen cultural and community work, while creating new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and sustainable community impact in Palestine.

مؤ مجاورة للحياة والتنمية  وجمعية مسرح بذور توقعان شراكة استراتيجية لتعزيز التنمية المجتمعية

أعلنت مؤسسة “مجاورة للحياة والتنمية” – المملكة المتحدة، وجمعية “مسرح بذور للثقافة والفنون” – فلسطين، عن توقيع شراكة استراتيجية تهدف إلى تعزيز التنمية المجتمعية من خلال الثقافة والفنون والمبادرات المجتمعية المشتركة

وجاء الإعلان عن الشراكة خلال لقاء افتراضي عبر تطبيق (Zoom) جمع طواقم المؤسستين، حيث شهد اللقاء جلسة تعارف بين أعضاء الفريقين، جرى خلالها استعراض مجالات التعاون التي شملت تطوير البرامج والمبادرات المجتمعية، وبناء القدرات والتعلم التشاركي، وتبادل المعرفة، وتعزيز المشاركة الثقافية والمجتمعية، إضافة إلى دعم مبادرات الرفاه والتعلم مدى الحياة وتطوير المشاريع المشتركة

وأكد السيد مرعي بشير، مديرة مؤسسة مجاورة للحياة والتنمية، أن هذه الشراكة تمثل خطوة مهمة نحو توسيع مساحات التعاون وتبادل الخبرات، مشيرة إلى أهمية بناء مبادرات مجتمعية وثقافية قادرة على الاستجابة لاحتياجات المجتمع وتعزيز دور الثقافة في التنمية

من جهتها، أكدت السيدة وسام الديراوي، المدير التنفيذي لجمعية “مسرح بذور للثقافة والفنون”، أن الاتفاقية تشكل ركيزة أساسية لدعم الابتكار المجتمعي من خلال المسرح والفنون، موضحة أن الشراكات الفاعلة تسهم في تحويل الأفكار الريادية إلى مشاريع عملية ملموسة تخدم الإنسان وتواكب تطلعات المجتمع

وتأتي هذه الشراكة ضمن رؤية مشتركة بين المؤسستين تهدف إلى تعزيز العمل الثقافي والمجتمعي، وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون وتبادل المعرفة والخبرات بما يخدم المجتمع الفلسطيني ويدعم جهود التنمية المستدامة
