From a simple invitation to think together, the circle of Mujawarah began to grow.

Many people got in touch, and from those conversations came our first online gathering, bringing together Palestinians and friends from Egypt. It was a warm and open encounter, full of stories, questions and experiences worth listening to and building on.

Our conversation explored the need for more spaces of Mujawarah — spaces that bring people, cultures and new generations closer together, and make room for dialogue, living together and learning from one another. We also reflected on how people carry a wealth of experience and knowledge, yet displacement, uncertainty and instability can leave much of it without a space to come together or be built upon.

The beginning was simple, but what emerged from the gathering was much bigger: a genuine desire for greater closeness and dialogue, and for spaces where people can meet through their experiences, questions and stories.

This is how Mujawarah begins… with an encounter that opens the way.

تواصل معنا العديد من الأصدقاء، ثم جمعتنا جلسة افتراضية أولى ضمّت فلسطينيين وأصدقاء من مصر؛ لقاء دافئ، صادق، ومليء بما يستحق أن يُسمع ويُبنى عليه

تناول اللقاء الحاجة إلى مجاورات تعزز التواصل بين الشعوب والثقافات والأجيال الجديدة، وتفتح مساحات للحوار والتعايش والتعلّم المشترك. كما ناقش المشاركون واقعاً يحمل فيه الناس خبرات وقدرات واسعة، لكن واقع النزوح والتشتت وعدم اليقين يترك كثيراً من هذه الخبرات بلا مساحة تجمعها أو تتيح البناء عليها

كانت البداية بسيطة، لكن ما حمله اللقاء كان أكبر: رغبة حقيقية في مزيد من القرب، والحوار، وفي إيجاد مساحات تتيح للناس أن يلتقوا بخبراتهم وأسئلتهم وتجاربهم
هكذا تبدأ المجاورة… بلقاء يفتح الطريق
