Reflection Session with Sharek Youth Forum Facilitators in Gaza

As part of the project “My Family and I – Strengthening Supportive Practices within Families and Kinship Networks”, Mujawarah for Life and Development held a reflection session with Sharek Youth Forum facilitators in the Gaza Strip, facilitated by Mr Said Abu Ghazza, Capacity Building Consultant for the project.

The session focused on exploring how the impact of community programmes and interventions extends into participants’ everyday lives, the positive changes facilitators observe in participants’ practices and family relationships, and the factors that help sustain these changes or prevent them from taking place.

Discussions also explored family and kinship support networks in the context of war, displacement and changing living and social conditions in Gaza. Particular attention was given to the sources of support available to girls and boys, safeguarding considerations, the limits of family support, and follow-up and referral procedures where needed.

These reflection sessions contribute to the development of the practical guide for the My Family and I project, drawing on facilitators’ experiences and field observations to identify practices and tools that can be integrated into existing programmes to strengthen their positive impact on participants and their families.

The project is implemented in partnership with Sharek Youth Forum and UNFPA.

لقاء تأملي مع ميسرات وميسري منتدى شارك الشبابي في غزة

ضمن مشروع “أنا وعائلتي – تعزيز الممارسات الداعمة داخل الأسرة وشبكات القرابة”، عقدت مؤسسة مجاورة للحياة والتنمية لقاءً تأملياً مع ميسرات وميسري منتدى شارك الشبابي في قطاع غزة، بتيسير أ.سعيد أبو غزة، مستشار بناء القدرات في المشروع

ركز اللقاء على استكشاف مدى امتداد أثر البرامج والتدخلات المجتمعية إلى الحياة اليومية للمشاركين والمشاركات، والتغيرات الإيجابية التي يلاحظها الميسرون في ممارساتهم وعلاقاتهم الأسرية، والعوامل التي تساعد على استدامة هذه التغيرات أو تحدّ من تحققها

كما تناول اللقاء واقع المساندة داخل الأسرة وشبكات القرابة في ظل الحرب والنزوح وتغيّر الظروف المعيشية والاجتماعية في غزة، مع الاهتمام بمواقع الدعم المتاحة للفتيات والفتيان، واعتبارات الأمان وحدود المساندة الأسرية، وآليات المتابعة والإحالة عند الحاجة

وتسهم هذه اللقاءات في تطوير المرشد العملي لمشروع “أنا وعائلتي”، بالاستناد إلى خبرات الميسرين وملاحظاتهم الميدانية، وتحديد الممارسات والأدوات التي يمكن إدماجها في البرامج القائمة لتعزيز أثرها الإيجابي في حياة المشاركين والمشاركات وأسرهم

يُنفذ المشروع بالشراكة مع منتدى شارك الشبابي و صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان
